Active in six countries through eight branches, Pyronova has built a strong reputation for its high-quality, innovative fire safety solutions that protect lives and property.

In recent years, Altebra has experienced strong growth through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions of fire protection specialists. This has allowed the group to expand its presence in Benelux and Scandinavia, as well as enter new customer segments such as industry, pharmaceuticals and data centers and broaden its range of fire safety solutions.
With the addition of Pyronova, the Altebra Group continues its growth strategy by welcoming a strong and complementary leader in Central and Eastern Europe, bringing additional resources, capabilities and expertise to serve fast-growing markets.

To enable this combination and support further international growth, Altenova welcomes Sofindev VI as a new majority shareholder. In addition to Sofindev VI, the founder of Pyronova, Pavol Pongrácz, the founder of Altebra, Karel De Cock, as well as the other shareholders and management of both companies will all become shareholders of the new group.
