Foodpartners International brings together three strong family-owned companies – Group Claes, Weidelco, and Dumortier – into one international wholesale group serving the food industry. With a comprehensive product range, technical expertise, and logistical solutions, they are the go-to partner for butchers, food professionals, and the food industry in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.
Foodpartners International is an international wholesale group for the food industry, established in 2022 through the collaboration between Group Claes (Belgium), Weidelco (the Netherlands), and Dumortier (France). This merger created a leading international wholesaler for the food sector, offering a wide range of butcher supplies, packaging, spices, cleaning products, casings, nets, and machinery.
Foodpartners International provides a comprehensive assortment of butcher supplies such as packaging, spices, cleaning agents, nets, artificial casings, and equipment. Through Claes Machines, the group is also the market leader in Belgium for high-quality machinery for the food processing industry, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.
In addition to products, the group offers concept development, logistical solutions, and consulting on assortment, profitability, hygiene, and promotion. Thanks to this combination of products, services, and expertise, Foodpartners International helps its clients work more efficiently and grow their businesses.
With 8 strategically located sites and over 340 employees, the group has a strong foundation to further expand its position in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.

In 2018, Sofindev entered into a partnership with the Claes family and the management team by acquiring a majority stake in Group Claes, alongside the founding family. With Sofindev’s support, Group Claes successfully strengthened its market leadership in Belgium, both organically and through the acquisition of Brabopak, while also realizing its international ambitions in the Netherlands and France.
Driven by Sofindev, Foodpartners International was established in 2022 as the umbrella group combining Group Claes, Weidelco, and Dumortier.
